David
E. Booker
One hundred fifty words, more or less, about David E. Booker might include the following: though lost in the cosmos without a compass, he has nonetheless managed to find his way into middle age. As to what he will do now that he is there, is still a matter of speculation. He often seeks guidance from his youthful daughter, Lauren, as he alternately approaches and then retreats from the slow expansion of his waistline and the slow deliquescing of Western Civilization as he knows it. He hopes the two will reach a libration point and he will creep into old age with some dignity intact.
Though published in a few small journals and a couple of Knoxville Writers’ Guild anthologies, he still strives at writing because honing his head against a brick wall is craft he is familiar with. He facilitates the Genre Fiction Writing Group as is the editor of the KWG newsletter, The East Tennessee Writer. You can see some of his writing at www.talltalestogo.net.
