Mission statement
To provide candid, constructive and diplomatic criticism of the work of crime and mystery writers of all levels who share the goal of getting better.

Guidelines
1. The focus is on crime and mystery fiction of all levels, including suspense, thrillers and other related types of writing. Both short stories and novels are discussed.

2. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

3. Three members can submit up to 5,000 words of material for review prior to each meeting.

4. Members provide written and oral critiques.

5. We will be candid, constructive and diplomatic, with the goal of helping each other improve.

6. All members must be current, dues-paying members of the Knoxville Writers Guild.

7. Interested Guild members are welcome to attend meetings to see how the group operates.
