Susan Dorsey
Susan Dorsey writes a cozy murder series set in Knoxville. Her first book, "A Civil Death," was published by Aberdeen Bay in July, 2011. It dealt with Knoxville's Civil War history. Her second book, "A Discriminating Death," will be published in April or May of this year by Rainstorm Press. It is about the Melungeon heritage in East Tennessee. You can visit Susan's blog site at www.sjdorsey.blogspot.com and her website at www.susandorseybooks.com. "I have really enjoyed being a member of the Guild, however I have not had a lot of time to get out to meetings. Hopefully, that will change as my children get a little older and I can get a bit more free time in the evenings," she says.
Susan, who 'met' KWG President Terry Shaw on Facebook when she joined the Guild, subsequently made an appearance on Community Television to talk about her books. She now meets with Terry and another mystery writer every couple of weeks for peer review "It has been a great learning experience," she said. Enjoy Susan's books, blog and website, and look for her at meetings!
