2008 Knoxville Writers' Guild Anthology
Theme: Fences and Frontiers

“a landscape of the mind in which the movement in physical space corresponds to a movement in consciousness.” --Leo Marx as quoted by Annette Kolodny in The Lay of the Land

The Knoxville Writers Guild seeks creative works in which writers and artists with a link to East Tennessee negotiate inner/outer borders and spaces, their own fences and frontiers, connecting us to their landscapes—mental, spiritual, and physical. We welcome writing and art that employ both innovative and traditional forms, and we have a particular interest in work containing eco-conscious subject matter.
