Kierstyn Lamour is a Ph.D. candidate in film & gender studies at the University of Tennessee. Her thesis, “Appeasing the Animal,” was published electronically in April of 2010 upon completion of her Master’s degree in creative writing in poetry from the University of Tennessee. She is a wife and mother of three young children.
