What was it like for poor

Uncle Walter
The epileptic

To know that his family was ashamed of him.
That they secretly, and most maliciously, sent him away in the night
To work amongst a farm of invalids in an alien place
Where it was impossible for him to marry and be loved
Just as it was impossible for him to become a priest like he'd always wanted,
All because of that terrible defect that poor

Uncle Walter
The epileptic

could in no way control.

I hope His ascendance to the top of the silo was brief.
I hope that the view was spectacular, and

The people

Appeared to be as small as they really are from any distance.

Perhaps
        His
            Fall
Was a long one.
Perhaps He enjoyed it.
