The Fifth Annual Robert Burns Poetry Award / Terry Semple Memorial Contest

Established in 2000 by Marybeth Boyanton in memory of her late husband, the contest is for poetry on the subject of Heritage, broadly defined. It might be the general impact of one’s heritage on the discovery of self, or a celebration of ancestry, ethnicity, community, region or the mix of cultures in our society, but the contest is not limited to these suggestions.

Fee: $10 for KWG members; $15 for nonmembers.

Specific Guidelines: Entry consists of a maximum of three poems. Multiple entries O.K.
