Laura Still is a poet living in Knoxville, TN; she works part-time as dental practice consultant and USTA certified tennis umpire. Her writing experience includes technical writing for dental patient education, as well as screening poetry and novels for locally based writing competitions. She is an active member of the Knoxville Writer’s Guild and will administer the Young Writer’s Prize in 2002. Her recent publications include Aethlon: The Journal of Sports Literature, New Millennium Writings, and Breathing The Same Air, the latest anthology produced by the Knoxville Writer’s Guild. She is also a member of the Knoxville Theatre Coalition and took part in the staged reading of The House on Second Street during the Knoxville New Play Festival in March 2001. |
